What this pad does for your bed
Holds up to 60 ounces of liquid, so an overnight leak stays in the pad instead of the mattress.
A moisture-proof bottom barrier layer keeps what it absorbs off the surface underneath.
An 80% cotton / 20% polyester top layer sits against skin — the cloth side, not plastic.
Works on more than beds: wheelchairs, sofas, lift chairs, arm rests and car seats — and pet crate or litter training.
Plaid on top, so it reads as a throw blanket rather than a medical product.
Washable and reusable — validated to last at least 200 washes.
Combining this Plaid Absorbent Bed Pad with your favorite Wearever® washable & reusable incontinence underwear for men and women can be an effective strategy for managing night-time bladder leaks and urinary incontinence. We recommend purchasing several pads for convenience during laundry cycles.
Sold individually — one pad per package. 34" x 36".

How the pad actually stays dry

Three layers, not one thick towel.

A patented three-layer construction. The top is an 80% cotton/20% polyester cloth that sits against skin. The middle is an 8-ounce poly soaker Unique-Dri inner core that captures and holds the moisture. The bottom is a moisture-proof barrier layer that stops it reaching the mattress or chair underneath. Double-bound edges provide durability through repeated washing.

Bottom layer Moisture-proof barrier layer

Washing

Machine wash warm, tumble dry low — and skip the softener.

Recommended washing instructions: Machine Wash Warm, Tumble Dry Low. Wash and dry the pad fully before you use it the first time. Wearever recommends Puracy Natural Laundry Detergent and Stain Remover.

No chlorine bleach and no fabric softener. Laundry additives like these will reduce the pad's absorbency.
